Team Rules and Policies:

Team/Player Priorities:

1 – Family

2 – School and School work

3 – Team

**Please note that Work, Friends, Video Games, Hair Cuts, etc… all fall below Team in the priority levels.

·       Coaches are to be addressed as: (Coach, Coach Ron, Coach Frechette)  (Coach, Coach John, Coach Naylor) and (Coach, Coach Joey, Coach Thompson)

·       If you are going to be late, or unable to attend practice or a game, the PLAYER is responsible to contact the coaches. Use Remind, Emails, or Phone calls – leave a message. If your phone is dead – You can tell a teammate to tell the coaches. If you have told a teammate and the coaches have not been updated when we asking the team about your status, the teammate will be called on the carpet for not helping their teammate.

·       You are expected to attend all Practices and Games unless specifically told not to. This means if you are injured you are still expected to be with the team every day.

·       Injured players are to report to KHS Athletic Trainer (her hours are posted outside of the Trainer’s room in the GYM wing) for diagnostics and rehab plans. If injured, the player will need to be cleared to return to play/participate with a Doctor’s note and/or the Trainer’s approval.

·       No Jewelry, no rings, no bracelets are to be worn during any practices or games (*). Teammates who see a teammate with any of these objects and does nothing to resolve the issue, will cause the team do a quite jog around the field as a team.

(*) Note; Religious or medical required items can be worn, but will need to be taped to body or wrapped in padding prior to joining acuities.

·       Players are expected to be properly dressed and ready to start based on the Start Time posted on the schedule. This means if we start at 3:30 the player should have arrived 10 to 15 minutes early of 3:30 and gotten correctly dressed and be ready to start with the coaches at that time.

·       Cell Phones are not to be used or checked during practice times or games unless the player has checked with and received permission from the coaches. Players can use phones prior to the start of and as soon as KHS Boys soccer activity ends.

·       KHS Boys soccer is a 6 days a week sport. Next week’s schedules will be posted either on Friday evening or Saturday morning prior to the upcoming week. All players are expected to be at all sessions. Individual exceptions will be granted case by case.

·       If the student-athlete has make up school work or needs help in a subject area, they are expected to get the help. Most of those activities are after school normal hours. If the player is going to be late to practice due to this work, they are to notify the coaches prior to getting the help. The student-athlete is expected to make all efforts to get their school work done and not to impact the team. Please read item #1 – Team/Play Priorities as a reminder. Because we are now practicing on the KHS lower practice fields – after the player attends a help session within KHS, they are expected to change and join in practice after they are done with the session.

·       Players are expected to care for their school issued uniform items correctly cleaned and washed.
