For 15 years, I was a classroom teacher in Killingly, working in grades 3-6.  I began a new chapter in my career as a math interventionist for the 2014-2015 school year.  The first four years have been amazing!  Working with young children who are eager to learn is everyone's dream, and I get to live it.  I take small groups of children who need more attention in math so we can close the gaps at an early age and help them find success.  This will be a place where the children can learn in a risk-free environment with a hands-on approach to help solidify some fundamental concepts and skills that will help lead them to consistent math progress.

For the 2018-2019 school year, I am fortunate enough to be working full-time at KCS for my second year, assisting children and teachers in grades K-1.  I am super excited to be in one school this year and focus on these kiddos so early in their learning development.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me!

Welcome Back to School

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!  I am so excited to be beginning my 21st year in education!  It doesn't seem possible that it has been that long.  Although the work load is heavy, the days fly by with all the enjoyment I get out of working with the children of Killingly.

I work with small groups of students to help them have more success with mathematics.  The earlier we can make them love numbers and learning in general, the better chance they will have at succeeding.

Personally, I have two children of my own.  Jenna is 17 and enjoys gymnastics and her friends.  She is quite an artist (did not get that from Mom) and hopes to pursue an art career in life. Nicki is 15 and loves competing in rodeo.  She wants to be a math interventionist like her mom.

My schedule changes daily.  I have a vast number of children and teachers that I support so my schedule is different each day.
