Welcome KCS Families and Future KCS Families!
Here are some guidelines regarding registering your students for Kindergarten:
1) If a student is currently attending Pre-K at KCS or GECC, they do not need to register as they are already enrolled in district. If Kindergarten eligible, they will automatically become a Kindergarten student.
2) All registration materials are located on our website. If you do not have access to a printer or computer, packets are available at the office between 9-2. When registration forms are completed, families can mail packets to KCS(60 Soap Street, Dayville, CT 06241 or can be dropped off between 9-2.
3) Families MUST also provide a copy of their child's birth certificate, two pieces of mail showing physical residence, and the most recent immunizations and physical for the child.
4) The school nurse will only be contacting families of children with medical concerns or who are missing forms. No appointments with the nurse will be made at this time.
If you have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
