The love of children and being able to work with them, supporting their growth and knowledge, has been my driving force since I was young. Always knowing that I had wanted to work within the field of education, I dreamt of becoming a first grade teacher. Following my graduation from ECSU, my dream was achieved and I spent twelve years teaching within grade 1.  I eventually moved to third grade and then supported kindergarten through grade 6 students as a Reading Interventionist.  Enjoying the opportunities of mentoring colleagues and collaborating with them to meet student need, I pursued an administrative certification.   In 2016, I was thrilled to become the principal at Killingly Central School. 

As principal, my goal is to work closely with students, parents, and staff to provide the skills, knowledge, and competencies required by society for our children to function successfully as productive citizens. I also strive to cultivate a culture that embraces and fosters a love of learning, which will last a student a lifetime.
