Killingly FFA

The FFA Chapter is the student leadership organization for students enrolled in agriculture education classes.  FFA is an integral part of the agricultural education program's three ring program model and offers numerous opportunities for members.  We strongly encourage all students to become FFA members.  Annual dues are paid each September, and financial difficulties can be confided to one of the agriculture teachers so no student is excluded.  Benefits of membership include: 

• Chapter recreation activities
• Participation in State and National Career Development Events (contests in curriculum areas)
• Life skills including public speaking, business management, and team work
• Participation at the State FFA Conference
• Participation at the National FFA Conference
• State and National Leadership Conferences
• College scholarships offered through Chapter, State, and National FFA
• Proficiency Awards for Supervised Agricultural Experience Projects
