Thanks for a great season and a fabulous 12 years!  Special thanks to my chaperones, Mr. Windrow and Mrs. Hallbergh, and also to our high school helpers, Josh Pasco, Nick Wrobleski and Logan O'Rourke.....Hopefully next year someone will take it over.  It is fun and rewarding and the kids are great!  Thank you all for the kind words.  I will miss you and ski club ~ Mrs. Gardiner
Great job for our first FIVE trips!   Please remember to leave classrooms at 2:05, get all things you need from locker and head to Fitness Room! Next Trip: February 15th (February 9th is cancelled.  Last trip will be the 15th- Storm, please stay away for Wednesday!!!)
The bus fee at this point will be 60 dollars for the season.  Those families having two children in the program will pay 100 dollars flat fee for both.  Any checks for transportation can be made out to KIS and put "ski club transportation" in the memo line.  Please be sure you have your fee in now as we are nearing the end of the season for ski club (well, KIS ski club, anyway).
**-Sign up deadline was December 1st.
Sign-ups were at Open House-September 8th, 2016. You will be notified via your email link when online signups for Wachusett become available.  This will only take place when you are given the school code by me.  The ski club adviser determines the limit for number of spots available.  Given we take a school bus, our bus is one-third filled with equipment, thus limiting our numbers.  I usually hold the number of sign-ups at 30.  Again, this is NOT determined by Wachusett, but by the school coordinator as each school/rec group is different.  As a side note, this will be my last year as ski club adviser (12 years).  If any parent or teacher is interested in taking this over for subsequent years, I will be more than happy to explain the process.  Thanks for (almost) 12 wonderful and fun-filled years....Hoping to make this our best ever (and hopefully, it will be snow-filled!!!)
Procedure on Ski Club Dates:  Students will be dismissed from class at 2:05 to gather all belongings and head to the bus to load equipment.  The sooner we get loaded the sooner we get to leave for the mountain!  Please be sure to have $$, a COW card or some snacks/lunch/supper items.  We leave what we don't need in the lodge on the bus, but definitely have what you need for the mountain in your gear bag.....Looking forward to this season!!!
