Welcome to Killingly High School's English Department! I am excited to share my love of reading and writing with you!  In my classes we will be studying the classics, with a sharp focus on becoming analytical and independent readers.   We will take a journey through our nation's history as it is reflected in the writings of several of my favorite authors.  We will learn by being active readers and effective communicators.  All of my classes are centered around a team concept and we will work together learning useful reading, writing and speaking strategies that will help you in all of your classes at KHS.  If you should have any comments, questions or concerns I can be reached at my email address (see staff directory) or for extra assistance in Room 2120 Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and Tuesday through Thursday from 2:15 p.m. to 4:00.   I look forward to helping all of you achieve your absolute best!

Like to write?  Come and see me to get information about the KHS Writers Club.  This group meets on a regular basis to share and give feedback on various forms of writing.  We have had members who have been published in books and magazines and have even had two who have represented Killingly High in the Connecticut Young Writers Award contest.  Consider joining this club of supportive and talented writers!
