Welcome to the KPS Mental Health & Wellness Department!

Killingly Public Schools offers a wide range of professional services to support the wellbeing of our student body and staff. Services are delivered at each of our school buildings by trained counselors and social workers. Our goal is to achieve a safe academic environment that supports social/emotional, behavioral, and career-minded wellbeing, while partnering with families and area resources to deliver the highest quality services to the school community.

I'm looking for help. Who can I talk to?

*Emergency Contacts*

  • Call 911 or visit the nearest hospital if a someone needs immediate medical attention or is in immediate danger of hurting themselves or others.
  • Call or Text 988 for a suicide crisis for any person.
  • Call or Text 211 for a mental health crisis for a person under Age 18. 
  • For any urgent mental or behavioral crisis, walk-ins are also available at the Urgent Crisis Center in New London (or Call 860-440-7182).
