Meet the IT Director, Christian J. Iamartino 

Christian joined Killingly Public Schools (KPS) in September 2021 as the Director of Information Technology. A graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA, Christian brings to the district over a decade of practical, hands-on experience in Information Technology Operations. Previously, he worked as an IT Operational Coordinator/Consultant at the University of Connecticut, and prior to that held notable technical roles in Information Technology at EASTCONN, Putnam Science Academy, and Thompson Public Schools. A long-time resident of the Quiet Corner, Christian enjoys devoting his professional time to continuous improvement of IT implementation, communication, and best practices across KPS and the local educational communities. In his spare time, Christian enjoys spending time with his wife and son, travelling abroad, tinkering, studying historical texts (particularly those of the Late Roman and Byzantine Empire), writing essays, and painting miniatures. Christian very much looks forward to the opportunity of working with you in the KPS Community, guiding you towards personalized and meaningful technology solutions.
