COVID 19 Vaccine Information
Governor Ned Lamont issued Executive Order 13G (“Order 13G”) which requires that all pre-K-12 school employees statewide receive at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by September 27, 2021. Those who do not get vaccinated due to certain exemptions will be required to test for COVID-19 on a weekly basis.
New Employees: Upon hiring
All new employees who ARE fully vaccinated are to provide the district with proof of their vaccination status by:
1. By email to HResources@killinglyschools.org (send as a scanned document, do NOT email a photograph); OR
2. Hand-deliver to Central Office attention Kristine Cicchetti or Kim Gillespie-Burnham
All employees who ARE NOT fully vaccinated must provide by:
o Proof of vaccination status (if partially vaccinated); or
o Exemption request
Request forms for a medical or religious/spiritual belief exemptions can be found below as Appendix A for medical and Appendix B for religious exemption.
Starting on September 27, 2021, employees who are not fully vaccinated must submit to COVID-19 testing one time per week on an ongoing basis (until fully vaccinated, if full vaccination is anticipated). Prior to every Monday thereafter, employees must provide adequate proof of the test results on a weekly basis to the district via one of the methods above before reporting to work.
