Killingly Public Schools offers a free GED Preparation Program to help adult learners earn their high school equivalency diploma. Our program provides instruction in the four key subject areas of the GED exam: Reasoning Through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies. Killingly Adult Education offers free English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for adults looking to improve their English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Our classes are designed for learners at all levels, from beginner to advanced, and focus on practical communication for everyday life, work, and community involvement. Taught in a friendly and supportive environment, our ESL program helps students build confidence, achieve personal goals, and take the next step in their education or career.

Our Citizenship Preparation Program is designed to support adult learners on their path to becoming U.S. citizens. The course provides instruction in U.S. history, government, civics, and the rights and responsibilities of citizenship. Taught in a supportive and inclusive environment, this program helps participants build the knowledge and confidence needed for a successful naturalization process

The Adult Basic Education (ABE) Program at Killingly Adult Education is designed for adults who want to strengthen their foundational skills in reading, writing, and math.
