April 3rd Message to Families

Dear KPS Families,
Our Killingly Public Schools Team hope you and your families are doing well in this challenging time. We want to start off by saying thank you so much for your incredible work supporting our students in their first official week of distance learning.
We are interested in your feedback.  We hope you can take a few moments to complete this quick check-in survey. Please complete one survey per child as your answers may vary between teachers, grade levels, and schools. We will use your feedback to better support students and parents. Please respond by Monday, April 6 at 3 pm. Your responses will be anonymous. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PDNWJYM

Technology Update
Over the last 2 weeks, we have provided devices to over 500 KPS families in our drive-through distributions at KIS. To support all of our students with their technology needs during distance learning, we have set up a special page on our website for requesting technology support: https://www.killinglyschools.org/departments/information-technology/remote-it-support. You can access this support page from this link, the popup on the KPS website, as well as in the top right hand corner of any page on the KPS website.

On the Remote IT Support page you will find answers to Frequently Asked Questions, directions on how to ask for help (in IT we call it submitting a ticket), and a link to access our ticketing system. We have already supported dozens of families this week to address their technology needs.  We’re here to help you make this difficult transition as smooth as possible.
Thank you for your kindness and grace in this unprecedented time.

Thank you,
The KPS Team
