Killingly Agricultural Education Accomplishments:
The Killingly Agriculture Education Program was awarded the 2006 Outstanding Secondary/Middle School Program in Region VI by the National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE). Region VI includes all the states from Maine to West Virginia including New York and Pennsylvania.
The Killingly FFA Chapter was awarded a two start ranking (out of three stars) in the National FFA Chapter Award in 2010-2011.
During the Past 8 years, our Chapter has had 25 State Winning Career Development Event (CDE) Teams, including; Meat Science, Dairy Foods, Parliamentary Procedure, Horse Evaluation, Livestock Evaluation, Floriculture, Agriculture Business Management, Agricultural Mechanics, Environmental/Natural Resources, Forestry, Agricultural Issues, Extemperaneous Public Speaking, FFA Creed and Food Science. Our students have also been recognized on the national level in the FFA National Proficiency Award Program. We have had five National Finalists. Seventeen students have earned the American FFA Degree, the highest degree the National FFA bestows on it's members.

Students with an Exploratory SAE worked over 459 hours; Students with a Research SAE over 286 hours; Students with an Improvement SAE over 2,307 hours; and Students who worked for a Non-Profit Organization worked over 3,826 hours.
- Worked a total of 9,344 hours
- Earned a Net Profit of $10,793.00
- Had an inventory valued at $42,494
