    New Kindergarten Registration

    to schedule a registration appointment

    as soon as possible.

    • Registration for children entering the Killingly Public Schools Kindergarten Program for the 2019-2020 school year will be held at Killingly Central School (860-779-6750) 60 Soap Street, Dayville Monday through Friday, between the hours of

    • 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on the following weeks:

    Monday March 4, 2019 to Friday April 12, 2019





    • Any Pre-K students currently attending Goodyear or KCS do NOT need to register, but MUST make an appointment to meet with the KCS school nurse.

             PLEASE NOTE: 

    • Children registering for the 2019-2020 school year must reach the age of five years before January 1, 2020. 


    • Parents must bring their child’s original birth certificate and two items indicating proof of residency showing their physical address.                           A P.O. Box is not acceptable.


    • All parents MUST meet with the KCS school nurse at this time and bring the child’s most current immunization records and physical with them.


    • A physical examination, including a hemoglobin or hematocrit, is required prior to entry into Kindergarten.


    • Parents should plan to spend approximately a half-hour at the school to complete the registration procedures.


    • It is not necessary for children to attend this registration meeting.


    • Registration forms are available at Killingly Central School, Goodyear, and on the school District’s website.

    8:10 AM Buses start arriving

    8:10 AM - 3:20 PM School Day Begins and Ends

    8:35 AM - Tardy after this time

    3:20 PM - Parent Pick-Up

    3:25 PM Bus Dismissal Begins
